The Core Storyline 

Jasoos-Ni is a highly engaging, classic-style murder mystery series that serves as a thrilling Hindi-dubbed adaptation of a popular Hoichoi Bengali drama. Bringing a refreshing, multi-generational twist to the detective genre, the series follows an unlikely but incredibly sharp amateur sleuth duo: a young woman and her highly observant grandmother.

The story kicks off in the historic, quiet town of Bishnupur, where Jaggaseni (Divyani Mondal) arrives to attend a close friend's grand wedding. The festive celebrations instantly turn into a grim nightmare when the bride is shockingly found murdered right during the event. With suspicion falling heavily over the town’s most powerful, elite family, the local police struggle to untangle the web of lies. Seeing the lack of progress, Jaggaseni teams up with her sharp-minded, intuitive grandmother, Girjabala (Srabanti Chatterjee). Over the course of 8 suspenseful episodes, the duo uncovers hidden affairs, stolen items, and deep family grudges. Moving through an array of bizarre clues—including a mysterious dead cat, poisoned victims, and a strange ping-pong ball—the duo must piece together the truth before the calculating killer claims their next victim.
