Throwing lavish mansion parties and inspiring a worldwide craze for overalls and goggles, their fifteen minutes of fame are abruptly cut short by a massive industry shift: the introduction of sound in cinema, leaving the Minions entirely unable to follow a written script in their native Minionese language.
